Prayer for the Week

We pray, O gracious Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, that we all may be one as you are one. In your community of complete unity,  (Yes, Virginia, V2 created the idea of partial Unity. I think that might be like the partial unity existing between a divorced husband and wife who share custody of their children) we have our beginning and our end. To you we pray, asking for the gift of visible unity among all who believe in your Christ.

As we commemorate this Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, we are reminded by your Word that all human beings are our neighbors and that we are to love them like ourselves and in the same way we love you. Help us to overcome the barriers and divisions we have nurtured against your will. (Yes, Catholics caused the schisms and heresies)

Grant to us, O Lord, a new Spirit of love and solidarity, that we may proclaim your good news to all of creation. We ask this through your Son, Jesus Christ, who with you and the Holy Spirt are one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Us Catholics are praying for the already existing Unity that is one of the four marks of the mark of the Church?

That makes no sense, does it?

I have the 1857 Raccolta (Collection of Indulgenced Prayers) which Paul VI blowed-up owing to Ecumenism, the Universal Solvent of Tradition.

When you see the prayers of Unity you will quickly come to understand that these prayers might reveal the truth that schismatics do not have partial unity, worse, that they are schismatics and heretics who must return to the fold or die outside The Ark Of Salvation and those truths might upset the schismatics and heretics and so the V2 revolutionaries preferred to put the balm of feelings on the spiritual gashes of the souls of the wounded living outside the fold rather than continuing prayers to encourage us Catholics to persevere in prayers of Truth.

IF the schismatics and heretics are "Christians" who putatively follow Christ, why do they refuse to be members of the One True Church He established and why do they refuse to partake of His Sacraments which are necessary for Salvation and Sanctification?
