In normal times a soi disant trad knows only a person who is Catholic or desires to be a Catholic can be saved but when it comes to a Queen they love, then the Masonic Faith applies.
The Masonic Creed has a few primary beliefs;
That all men are good
That all men can worship (or not worship) the God of their choice in the manner they desire to worship Him whether He is a Triune God or not.
Some denizens of Tradistan think that because Elizabeth was a good monarch then she might have been saved despite the fact she was not Catholic.
It is said the floor of Hell is paved with the skulls of Catholic Bishops so maybe the walls of Hell are plastered with the hides of Pagan and Protestant Royalty.
A Protestant Queen is said to have performed her ceremonies with dignity etc (Salvation by works absent Faith?) and, besides, it is said that if she had become a convert she would have lost her Royal gig (It is better to keep your Royalty than to convert to the truth faith to save your soul) and we are supposed to understand that choice and to sympathise with it.
The sentimentality over a the loss of a beloved Queen is understandable but to abandon Catholic Dogma in her service is not.
Using the Get-Out-Of-Hell-Card-Free is also eye-opening for Vox cites the Catechism of Vatican Two to suggest Elizabeth might be in Heaven;
We are bound by the Sacraments but God is not.
But, of course that is double troubling because that was a way for the Catholic authorities to try and find some wiggle room around the dogma of Baptism as necessary for salvation (Cos of aborted babies) AND, obviously the "we" includes all men and women, even a beloved Protestant Queen.
Now, these are the very same Catholics (I am writing about you Vox) who go mental when Pope Francis succors Universalism and Indifferentism and so maybe Vox and his minions will remember this episode when he and others dare to criticise Prelates when they do the very same thing.
Hypocrisy ain't cool.
What is funny is that some Prots know the Catholic Faith better than these putative theological experts:

I have no idea of the judgement of The Queen, that is God's sole prerogative, but all of this she-prolly-is-saved-becuase-she-was-good sentimentality reveals what really is in the hearts of far too many soi distant Trads.
