Ricky Gervais on Netflix

 I watched the Ricky Gervais comedy show on Netflix 

As pertains to human beings he repeatedly made several claims;

Humans evolved from apes 

What the Nazis did to the Jews was the worst crime ever.

But Hitler was  a YUGE Darwinian evolutionist and, thus, not guilty for what he did because there is no right or wrong if evolution is true; it is all about mutations and natural selection ( which is an obvious scam as evolution preaches constant increasing complexity and ability but evolution precludes any teleology) 

The audience went ape over these remarks never once indicating it understood his claims are contradictory

Evolution precludes an objective morality that applies to everyone everywhere at all times

Because morality is abstract thought how could that have evolved from ape like morons living in what became the U.K.??

What was their earliest form of  that thought?

Even Noam Chomsky was forced to concede there has never been any evidence that language evolved. 

Gervais is considered some sort of truth teller- he is a funny bastid - but when it comes to
metaphysics he is a gibbon.

As is his audience.

I know I am weird in that I think about these things watching a comedian but Gervais is a synecdoche of modern celebrities who are thought to be free thinkers but, like the vast majority of them, he is a slave to rank materialistic ideation.

The one taboo that Gervais will not transgress is the war crimes committed against the Jews in World War Two; The Jew Taboo. 

It's almost as if he'd have his career ruined if he mocked Jews like he mocks cripples and midgets.
