If you are one who teaches or is around people between the ages of 12 and 30, ask them to recite the Ten Commandments.

I'll bet that fewer than 10% could do that.

That is a quick measurement of what passes for Christian Catholicism (A Christian who follows Jesus in the Church He established) in our modern world today.

Is there a Prelate or Priest you know who is shamed by this?

If he is he should teach and preaches on the most basic of catechetical knowledge.

Many many years ago, after I had stopped going to Mass, for some reason (Holy Ghost prompting), I asked my own self what the Ten Commandments were.

I know I couldn't list them all, as I recall I got around 8 or 9 and yet I had been born into a Yuge Irish Algonquin Catholic family in Vermont in 1948.

Thanks be to God for not letting me drift into Hell like a snowflake.
