Pain in the Body of Christ diagnosed as kidney stones

At the World Youth Day sendoff Mass, Bishop Nevares prayed that Phoenix’s pilgrims have a safe and beautiful, holy experience. He also reminded them of a few packing essentials: to being the faith that’s deep in their heart, a hope to encounter Jesus and love for one another and for God.
“You, my brothers and sisters going on pilgrimage, will be infused with the Holy Spirit making you living stones on which Christ can build His Church. How important this experience of the World Youth Day will be for you,” the bishop said.

A friend of mine, Amateur Brain Surgeon, has diagnosed the recent WYD phenomenon thusly:  The youth are not Living Stones, they are Kidney Stones painfully passing through the Body of Christ:

The highly respected Dutch Theologian, Fr. Meneer Eikel of Naaktgeboren Poepjes Seminary in Holvast Klootwijk told CNS yesterday that:  Unless we become like the adolescents in the post-Christian West, we are likey to lose the essence of what it means to be a pilgrim church on its way to the new Atlantis, stopping occasionally because it has to run behind a bush to pee, before rejoining the world youth in the modern life of the people of G*d which is slowly circling the existential drain. Amen?
